work=force* displacement
or
w= f * s

where
w= work
f= force
s= displacement

work is said to be done when a force of 1 newton acts on an object and creates an displacement of 1 m, then the work is said to be done.

Work done = force * displacement

Whereas, work done would be 'w'

               force would be 'f'

               dispacement would be 's'

In short

           w = f * s

hope this answer help u
