There was news from ISRO; they successfully launched chandrayaan 2 on 22nd of July at 2:43 p.m. from sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh.

EXPLANATION:

ISRO is an organization which deals in the sector of space and its research. The mission chandrayaan 2 is to reveal the mysteries hidden in the moon. By launching this rocket successfully India became the first country to land there satellite and Rover on the southern pole of the Moon.

It would take 54 days for the satellite to reach to the Moon from the day one of its launch. The chief of ISRO is K. Sivan, he is a scientist of space research and due to his contribution ISRO successfully launched chandrayaan 2. Fuel used in the rocket is condensed and liquid hydrogen gas.
