Explanation:

The Himalayan Mountains are otherwise called the Himadri, Himavan or Himachal. The Himalayas comprise of the most youthful and the loftiest mountain chains on the planet.

The extent of their size can be assessed from the way that the focal pivotal scope of the primary Himalayas alone stretches for a distance of north of 2,400 km (over 22° longitude) from the Indus gorge in the west to the Brahmaputra gorge in the east.

The width of the Himalayas fluctuates from 500 km in Kashmir to 200 km in Arunachal Pradesh. The absolute region of the Himalayan mountain locale is almost five lakh sq km. The Pamir, prominently known as the top of the world is the interfacing join between the Himalayas and the high scopes of Focal Asia.

From the Pamir, the Himalayas expand toward the east as an arcuate bend which is raised toward the south. The southern limit of the Himalayas is distinct by the lower regions (300 m shape line) yet the northern limit is fairly dark and converges with the edge of the Tibet Level.
