Answer:
The major energy and their sources are;
Solar energy- Sun
Wind energy- Air
Tidal energy- Ocean
Fossil energy- Fossils fuel
Nuclear fuel energy- Nuclear fuel
Hydrogen energy- Water
Geothermal energy- Earth
Explanation of any two;
Solar: It is the largest renewable source of energy among all the sources. The energy coming from the sun is called solar energy. We in earth receive it in the form of light and heat energy. It is the most important source of energy, as the plants without the light energy from the sun can not produce their own food and thus can not survive and as a result no living organism can survive in this planet. And without the heat energy, the temperature of earth will be down to such extent that no living organism will be able to withstand it. Such a massive energy is produced due to continuous nuclear fusion inside the sun's core. Other than plants all the living organisms of earth require the sun's energy to sustain life. Also, there are solar panels and various solar devices which harvest this energy and converts it in various other forms.
Fossils: It is a non-renewable source of energy, with more and more consumption the source are depleting. Fossil fuel mainly consists of Petroleum oil, coal and natural gas. These are formed by millions of years of decomposition of dead plants and animals in the depth of earth. These fossils are converted to crude fuels inside the earth from which they are extracted and are further processed to produce different types of coal, petrol, diesel, etc which are used in regular uses.
