- Effects: Earthquake leads too many loses of life, causes damage to buildings, homes, bridges and many more.
- Remedial measures: During this disaster, stay away from tall buildings and heavy objects. Take shelter under a table.
Flood: It is a natural disaster. It is a fast flow of water which completely covers the land.
- Reasons: Heavy rainfall causes flood. Overflow of water outside the river boundary takes place. The another reason of flood is breaking of dams. Dams hold a large amount of water and when they break, the large amount of water flows out and creates a flood.
- Effects: Flood can destroy everything. Environmental and life distruction takes place.
- Remedial measures: Move away from the areas where water is overflowing. Do not walk or drive across flood waters.
