Tagore House conducted the junior assembly for students of classes 1 to 5 on Wednesday, 11th of July 2018. The theme of the assembly was, ‘Humanity: Key to World Peace’. The events and participants were as follows-
1. Word of the Day
The word of the day, ‘Humanity’ was presented by Prachi Singh of class 5 A.
2. Thought on the theme.
The thought was presented by Prachi Singh of class 5A.
3. Skit on the theme.
A skit on being kind and generous was presented by the students of class 4th. The activity incharge was Ms.MadhushreeGhosh.
4. Subject based activity A Mathematics activity was presented by the students of class 3rd and 4th. The activity incharge was Ms.Akansha.
5. Discourse
Students of class 5th prepared a conversation on ‘Keeping oneself safe during Monsoon season’. They students discussed about dengue and it’s prevention and also about food infection that spread like a forest fire. In the last, the students showed how to wash the hands properly for good hygiene.
“Veer Chawla” of Class 3 received the award for “3rdBalaji Swimming Competition 2018” for achieving 1st position and was congratulated by the Headmistress ma’am.
