The mughals were from central asian countries, like Uzbekistan and Mongolia. Babur was the first mughal emperor(1526-1530). The mughals were seen symbolically important as they didnot treated Indians as slaves or second rated people as the british did . they tried to attain harmony between Hindus and muslims. bahadur shah zafar the mughal Emperor at that time was seen as natural leader when we oppose something we need an alternate in his place.
