The Revolt or uprising of 1857 was a valiant effort by disgruntled Indian sepoys to overthrow the colonial power from Indian shores, however, it ended in failure. The reasons for thefailure of the 1857 Revolt are many and can be grouped into Administrative, Military and Political causes.

Heyy dear... Herre is your answer....

The causes for the failure of The revolt are...

1.... The rebels lacked modern weapon for the war..

2.. Rebels did not have a single leader...

3... The rebellion was not organised and
did not take place at all places at the same time.. So it was easier for the britishers to supress the revolt..

4... Due to the cruel treatment to the revolutionaries by the British, the ordinary people were frightened and did not actively participate in the revolt of 1857..

5... And by having control over the means of communication and transportation the British were able to supress the rebellion.....

I thinkk its hopefull...
