The cells in our body come in various shapes and sizes.
The single cell organisms have a different type of cell compared with that of multi-cellular organisms.
The amoeba has an irregular shape and keeps on changing with its movement.
The other shapes of the cells include shapes like branched out cells similar to the neurons, spindle shaped, round shape, and oval or elongated shape.
The cells, although not visible to the naked eye are easily detectable under a microscope. Hence, we can say that they are mostly microscopic in size.
