I am not writing this answer to gain sympathy. I am a strong independent woman and i am in love with me life. I am writing it because it stands true for this question.
I was standing in Durlabh ji, next to my father’s bed. My family waiting outside (i have two younger siblings and mom).
The doctor came and i asked him about my dad’s chances of surviving.
He said it is 0.05 %.
I looked at my dad and tears started falling down my cheeks. He looked so pale and in pain.
After a while came the moment that my dad passed away right in front of my eyes.
I cried for a while. Now, it was time.
My inner me was asking me, you have two options priyal.
Either live your life sulking about it.
Or be the backbone of your family.
I chose the later.
But then my inner me said: come on, you are just 22. Do you think you can handle a family and provide for their needs at this young age.
I slowly moved out of the room to call my siblings and mom.
I looked at their innocent faces. I saw my family in tears. And i remembered that my mother was 19 when she had me. Since then she is taking care of me.
I WILL DO EVERYTHING IN MY POWER TO BE THE DAD OF THE FAMILY.
Since then i have never looked back and till date after each disturbing/demotivating moment or day i look at my brother’s innocent face as he lives with me and listen him speak about how great his day went, i call my mom to hear her innocent voice or call my sister to listen how happy she is for being able to study further.
Do i need any more motivation in my life. NO.
The happiness of my family is my motivation. When i see my brother with a smile on his face, when i can hug him when he is sad, when i listen to my sister talking about all that she studied and all the new dresses she could buy, when i listen to my mom saying that she is very proud of me, when my account gets debited for the investment i am making for family……all this motivates me.
I wake up each day feeling content
I may not have everything i asked for but i am motivated to create motivation comes from them,. Seeing each one of them happy is real strength and being able to fulfil their demands is real happiness nothing can beat this happiness. To me, success means this. ♥️
It was a Pandemic period when whole world was suffered alot and my family is also no exception. As soon as lockdown was declared my father lost his job. Our financial condition was not good ,few days we survived somehow but my father knew the fact that it won't work after some days. Anyhow he should work and earn something so family can survive. My father has a graduation but in lockdown period everything is shut down so no one was offered any job to him. Though it was restricted but my father woke early morning and left home to search something but unfortunately he didn't get anything.
Finally he has decided that only one thing can survive him and our family that is basic needs. So decided to sell vegetables on the road. He didn't think about anything because it was the matter of survival. He went to vegetable market early morning and started selling vegetables on the road. Fortunately some income was started and we survived. Later my father was continued the work and sell was increased alot. Now pandemic situation is over but still our vegetable business is going on. Fortunately this business gives us more money than my father's earlier job.
This experience was really encouraging for me, it gave me tremendous motivation to do anything. It taught me that no work is big or small, if we work sincerely we can get Money as well as reputation.
