Parents love is incredible and unbeatable in this world. Every child wants to make their parents proud and happy. Parents give life to us, they sacrifice their happiness and life to make children's dream come true. The important qualities of a good son and daughter are love and affection, respect, communication and trust each other. Whereas, there are many differences from generation to generation and also culture. It depends on how parents and children handle.
First of all, love and affection are the top one priority with parents. Parents show us so much love, caring and affection, but sometimes after growing up and living in busy life style we fail to treat our parents in the same way. Some people realize their mistake but some don't. A good son or daughter's job is to give full love and affection to parents, ask them about their health, what they want- these simple questions make them happy and secured. I think our globalization have changed our culture and also behavior. For instance, people are so busy with their work, they don't even get time to see their parents face even though they stay under one roof.
In addition, it is easy to take our parents for granted. We forget the sacrifices they have made for us and the effect it takes to rise a happy, healthy children. Respect is a foundation of love. There is a quot saying "give respect and take respect". One of the way to show your parents that you love them is to treat them with respect. Since, from centuries, there are differences among parents and children. It really depends how you put your words and express the differences to convince our parents.
Furthermore, parents always trust their children and they want their children to be successful in life. A good son or daughter should have the quality to communicate with their parents and trust each other. For instance, whenever i wanted to go for a party with friends, my parents used to trust me that i'l be back by time, and i used to keep up my promise. So this way there won't be conflict or misunderstanding. Communicating with parents is very necessary, sharing things, seeking advice and many more.
In short, a good son or daughter should show love and affection, even if there is a generation or culture differences. Basic relationship foundations are respect, trust and communication. All these are very much required to make our parents happy, for all those sacrifices they have made.

My parents are the most precious gifts that I have received from God. They meant the whole world to me. They took care of me and protected me when I was a tiny baby. Their love for me has remained unchanged through the years.
Even when there were difficult situations at home, they will try to overcome them because they want to provide the best that they can give me. They have sacrificed so much for me. They give me words of wisdom and encouragement so that I may do well in life.
The love of my parents can not be measured. My parents work hard and selflessly so that I might get everything I need to grow healthy both in body and mind. They have spent most of their earnings on my education so that I could lead a secure and comfortable life in the coming years. I respect my parents for their humility and honesty. I honour my parents for their unconditional love for me. My parents are my superheroes. I feel secure and confident because they are always there for me. I owe a lot to my parents. But I can not repay them for all the things they have done for me. All I can do for them is to keep them happy as long as they are alive.
