Frogs has different sense organs like taste buds, nasal epithelium, internal ears, eyes, skin etc. But among all, eyes and ears of frogs are more developed. As the tadpoles grow as adult frogs, its eyes move to the top of its head. Frogs has a very good vision and great power of perception.
Frogs sense balance has been maintained by tympanum and their olfactory gland can detect the smell of chemicals present in water.

Organs of special senses in frog:
- The frogs has special senses. Just like human beings it has 5 sense organs.
- Firstly the eyes, the tadpoles have a pair of eyes that are located on the either side of the head. But frogs have better allotment of eyes.
- The frogs has a pair or nostrils for detecting smell.
- The touch takes place through the moist skin of the frog along with its respiration.
- Again the frog has a sense of taste. They don't have pinna but have ear drums which are known as tympanum.
