"Answer:

Allotropes Of Carbon :

Different forms of a single element which have different physical appearances and properties but their chemical properties are similar are known as Allotropes.

There are three main Allotropes of carbon:-

1. Diamond :  Diamond is a 3D network of strong carbon-carbon covalent bond.

2. Graphite :In Graphite each carbon atom is bonded with three other carbon atoms to form hexagonal rings in it's molecular structure.

3. Fullerene :It is as same structure as graphite except it also contain pentagonal or heptagonal rings in it's structure. Spherical fullerenes are also called Bucky balls and Cylindrical fullerene are called lucky tube or nano-tubes."
