Manure can be prepared on our own in the field.but chemical fertilizers cannot be made on our own by natural process. Manure doesn't not pollute the soil and doesn't destroy the fertility of the soil but chemical fertilizers destroys the fertility over time. Manure makes the soil porous which helps the water holding capacity of the soil.
