The region of South-Eastern Rajasthan lies between the Malwa plateau in the east and Aravali in the range of west.
South Eastern uplands formed by past fluvial erosion and by geologically recent desert erosion.
Banagana rivers flow eastward. So agriculture is the main occupation of the uplands population.
The south Eastern area lies at a somewhat higher elevation than it's northwestern counterpart.
It is also more fertile and has a more diverse topography.
