blood is thick connective tissue

it has iron containing pigment called haemoglobin having four haeme and four globin molecules it is required for transportation

it has known name in transport of hormones and respiratory gases

also it has plasma which has clotting factors which have fibrogen, albumins, glucose and amino acids

albumin maintain osmotic balance

wbcs are of two types granuolocytes and agranulocytes

blood actually forms 30-35%of ECF
