volt meter- intrument that is used to measure the currents in a circuit
and ammeter is the instrument that is used to the voltage between two points in a circiut.

VOLTMETER- 1) IT IS USED TO MEASURE POTENTIAL DIFFERENCE ACROSS TWO POINTS IN A WIRE.
2) IT IS CONNECTED IN PARALLEL COMBINATION.

AMMETER-1) IT IS USED TO MEASURE CURRENT .
2) IT IS CONNECTED IN SERIES COMBINATION.
