Find the slope:

Slope = (Y2 - Y1)/(X2 - X1)

Slope = (2 - 2)/(5 - (-1)) = 0/6 = 0

=> The equation is a horizontal line

The point y = 2 is consistent in both points

=> The equation is y = 2

Answer; y = 2

general formula of point slope form of the equation is

y-y1=m(x-x1)

we have given

(x1,y1)=-(-1,2)

and

(x2,y2)=(5,2)

first of all find slope=m=y2-y1/x2-x1

=2-2/5+1

m=0

slope is zero which ensures that line is horizontal

y-1=0(x+1)

y=2

it is a horizental line
