Social-
The society was divided into 3 parts- The nobles,The clergy and The Commoners. The nobles didn’t pay any taxes. The Clergy was divided into two categories-Upper Clergy and Lower Clergy. The Upper Clergy occupied high positions in churches and other offices. Also, they didn’t pay any taxes to the king. The lower clergy led a miserable life. Thus the burden of taxes was imposed on the Commoners. This inequality influenced the people for revolution. This aroused the common people about their rights. Thus, the common people became rebellious. The lower Clergies and the provincial nobles also joined their hands with the common people.
Economic: The economic condition of France formed another cause for the outbreak of the French Revolution. The economic condition of France became poor due to the foreign wars of Louis XIV, the seven years War of Louis XV and other expensive wars. The failed policies led to the the national debt of France increase from 300,000,000 to 600,000,000 Franks only in three years. Thus taxes were imposed on the Clergy and commoners, further deteriorating their condition.
Political: As explained above,France became bankrupt and when Louis XVI ascended to the throne it became even worse. He was an innocent and simple man. But he was influenced by his queen Marie Antoinette who always interfered in the state affairs. She was the daughter of Marie Theresa, the Austrian Empress. She always felt proud as she was the daughter of Austrian Empress. She always enjoyed luxurious and extravagant life. She sowed seed of the French Revolution. Thus, the autocratic monarchy, defective administration, extravagant expenditure formed the political cause of the French Revolution.

Freedom from monarchy, freedom from feudal relations. Freedom from feudal exploitation. Freedom from landlords.
This freedom was needed by the emerging capitalist class also, as the feudal relations were not suitable for production & business. The profit was restricted as there were not enough workers and even the laws were to take care of land relations, rather market interests!
So, the emerging bourgeois class and the workers, poor peasants joined revolution but as soon as the feudalism lost the battle, the bourgeois class backstabbed the working class, with the help of the existing army, which had majority of feudal lords as officers and favoured the new ruling class over the working class!
