hi friend

we know that (x+y)^2 = x^2+2xy+y^2

here the polynomial is the RHS

so the factors of the polynomial are (x+y)(x+y)

so it can be written as (x+y)^2÷(x+y)

so when we divide the polynomial will x+y

we get the answer (x+y)

hope it helps

x²+2xy+y²

(x+y) ²= (x+y) (x+y)
