The cooperatives set up shops to sell low priced goods to poor people. Eg. Mother dairy in New Delhi provides milk and vegetables at cheap rate.. Another eg is that of amul in gujarat. It had brought white revolution to the country. These cooperatives are functioning in various parts of india to ensure food security to various sections of society. Hope this helps..!!!
