Kepler's three laws of planetary motion
1)Law of orbits:- Every planet revolves in an elliptical orbit around the sun with the sun at one of the foci
2) Law of areas:- The line joining the centre of the sun to the centre of the planet i.e. radius vector sweeps out equal areas in equal intervals of time.
3)Law of periods :- Square of the time period of revolution of the planet around the sun is directly proportional to the cube of semi major axis of elliptical orbit
