Given\: that\: x^2\:+2x\:+\:1

 Let's\: factorise\:the\: polynomial\:to\:find\:the\:zeroes

=>\:x^2 \:+ 2x\: +1

=>\:x^2\:+\:x\:+\:1

 Taking\: out\: common\:terms

=>\:x(x+1) \:+\: 1(x+ 1)

=>\:(x \: +\:1)\:(x\:+\:1)

=>\: x\: + \: 1 \:= \:0

=>\:x\:=\:-1

Therefore the value of zeroes in the polynomials x^2\:+\:2x\:+\:1 is -1 and -1 respectively
