Monomial : A polynomial having one term is called a monomial.(Mono means one)
Examples : 3x, 6x², 5xyz, 2/3y²….
Binomial : A polynomial having two terms is called a binomial.(Bi means two).
Examples : 4x + 5 , y³ - 4 , 4x³ + x , 5t - √7...
Trinomial : A polynomial having three terms is called trinomial.(Tri means three).
Examples : y² + y +4, 4x² -2x +7, 2x⁴ + x² +5, y² + 2y +3 ….
