Two differences between distance and displacement are:-

1) Distance is the actual length traveled by any body from the initial point to the final point.
    Displacement is the shortest possible distance that can be traveled by any body from the initial point to the final point.

2)Distance is a scalar physical quantity and has only magnitude
   Displacement is a vector physical quantity and has both magnitude and         direction
