Aurangzeb was a person in the mughal dynasty and also the son of Shah Jahan.
he had a very different attitude towards religions. he promoted Islam while forced Hndus to change their religion
He led to the downfall of mughal dynasty and his predessors remained to have only a symbolic presence.
The main reason was the lack of capital in the royal tresoury due to the formation of Taj Mahal.
