Perimeter = 2 ( l + b )
2 ( l + 35 ) = 174
l + 35 = 87
Therefore, l = 52 m
Area of a rectangle = 52 x 35
= 1820 m^2

⇒ Perimeter of Rectangular Plot = (2 × Length) + (2 × 35 m)
⇒ Perimeter of Rectangular Plot = (2 × Length) + 70 m
⇒ 174 m = (2 × Length) + 70 m
⇒ 174 m - 70 m = (2 × Length)
⇒ 104 m = (2 × Length)
⇒ 104 m/2 = Length
⇒ Length = 52 m
Area of Rectangular Plot = Length × Breadth
⇒ Area of Rectangular Plot = 52 m × 35 m
⇒ Area of Rectangular Plot = 52 × 35 m²
⇒ Area of Rectangular Plot = 1820 m²
