Subject : To take up the issue of child labour

    I'm Neha Ojha, residing in the given address. I'm a girl of 15 and it's really disheartening to see the prevailing case of child labour in our country.

    Nowadays, we can see many children working in simple and hazardous jobs. Yesterday, while returning from school, I was shocked to see many children picking rags. These children work as rag pickers at a very small age when they have no physical and mental maturity. Their conditions are very poor and also, they are not being paid well.

     Besides from ragpicking, children are also engaged in dangerous industries such as preparing fireworks, matchboxes, etc. The root cause for this is poverty which is obvious. Their parents send their children here instead of school to earn in a age when they are supposed to earn.

      Therefore, I kindly request you to publish this issue in the columns of your esteemed newspaper so that the concerned authorities will find a solution for it.
