wt is meant by zero error of a verniar scale? how is it taken in account to get the correct measurement??

this error occurs because of a manufacturing defect in the vernier caliper. so in this case the vernier scale is actually placed before or after the position it should be placed so according to its position there are two types of error positive zero error and negative zero error.
