Answer:

\huge \frac{x - 1}{3}  -  \frac{x - 2}{4}  = 1

Taking L. C. M of 3 and 4

\huge \frac{4(x - 1) - 3(x - 2)}{12}  = 1

\huge \frac{4x - 4 - 3x + 6}{12}  = 1

\huge \frac{x + 2}{12} = 1

\huge \: x + 2 = 12 \times 1

\huge \: x + 2 = 12

\huge \: x = 12 - 2

\huge \: x = 10

Verification,

L. H. S

 =  \frac{x - 1}{3}  -  \frac{x - 2}{4}

  = \frac{10 - 1}{3}  -  \frac{10 - 2}{4}

  = \frac{9}{3}  -  \frac{8}{2}

 = 3 - 2

 = 1

R. H. S

Therefore L. H. S =R. H. S

Answer:

x - 1 - x - 2. = 1

3. 4

(x - 1) - (x - 2)  = 1 \times 4 \times 3 \\ 2x - 3 = 12 \\ 2x = 12  + 3 \\ 2x =15 \ \\

so, x = 15/2

=7.5
