Given x + 1/x = 5

           x^2 + 1 = 5x

           x^2 - 5x + 1 = 0

           Divide LHS and RHS with 3 .

           3(x^2 - 5x + 1)/3 = 0

           3x^2 - 15x + 3 = 0.    -------- (1)


Given 2x/3x^2 - 5x + 3 = 0   --------- (2)

On solving (1) and (2) , we get

2x/10x

x = 1/5.
