Step-by-step explanation:

Given : X/2+Y/3 =2

it can be written as,

LCM of Denominator (2,3) =6

So,By Solving

3X + 2Y = 12 Eqn (i)

Similarly,

9X + 3Y = -27 Eqn (ii)

Eqn(i)*3 - Eqn (ii)

(9X +6Y =36 ) - (9X + 3Y = -27)

3Y =36+27 =63

Y = 63/3 =21

Now On putting the value of Y in Eqn (i)

3X + 21*2 = 12

3X + 42 = 12

3X = -30

X = -30/3 = -10

X = -10

Answer : (X = -10, Y = 21)
