I guess u mean solve for x and y.......

x/3-y/2=1

=> 2x-3y=6                   -(1)

x/5+y/4=5

=>4x+5y=100                 -(2)

Equation (1)*2

4x-6y=12

Comparing the equations

4x+5y=100

4x-6y=12

Subtracting the equation......

11y=88

y=8

Substituting y=8 in the previous equation

4x-6(8)=12

4x=48+12

x=60/4

x=15

Thus x=15 and y =8
