"In the given question, both the statement as well as reason is false.

Reason:

The passing of the digested end product into the blood by the villi present in the small intestine is called as absorption.

This process takes place in ""different parts"" of the ""alimentary canal"" which includes mouth, stomach, small as well as large intestine.

The only point of importance is that the intensity of the absorption is more in intestine.

However, for digestion process secretions in the form juices from organs such as stomach, pancreas, gall bladder is also required.

Hence, both the statement as well as reason is false."
