x plus 2 by x-2 gives 7 by 3

3(x+2)=7(x-2)
3x+6=7x-14
4x=20
x=5

 [x + 2 ] / [x -2 ] = 7 /3

cross multiply :-

[x + 2 ] 3 =  [x - 2 ] 7

3x  + 6 = 7x - 14

6 + 14 = 7x - 3x 

20 = 4x

x = 20/4

x = 5
