6x+7-(2x-7) = 0
6x+7-2x+7 = 0
4x+14 = 0
4x= 0-14
4x= - 14
X= - 14/4
x= - 3.5

Given root 6x + 7 - (2x - 7) = 0 can be written as

           root 6x + 7 = 2x - 7

On squaring both sides, we get

         (root 6x + 7)^2 = (2x - 7)^2

          6x + 7 = 4x^2 - 28x +49

          6x + 7 - 4x^2 + 28x - 49 = 0

          34x - 42 - 4x^2 = 0

It is in the form of ax^2 + bx + c = 0

On solving using the formula -b+/ root b^2 - 4ac/4a

We get 3/2,7

3/2 doesn't satisfy the equation.

Hence the answer will be x = 7.
