\sf\huge {\underline{\underline{{Solution}}}}

x+y= 4

2x+y= 4

How to solve ?

step 1: Firstly make the coefficient same of any Variable of both Equation.

step 2: Change the sign and substract it we'll obtain a value which could be put into another equation to find out other value.

=>x+y= 4-----× 2  ̄➊

2x+y = 4------× 1  ̄➋

In order to make the coefficient same of one variable Multiply 2 with Equation 1 and 1 with Equation 2.

New Equation obtained

=> 2x+2y= 8

=> 2x+y= 4

=> (-)(-)\:(-)

════════

y= 8-4

y= 4

Now, put y into Equation 1

=> x+y=4

=> x+4=4

=>x = 0

x=0

Check

=> 2x+y= 4

=>2(0)+4

=>0+4= 4
