x+y = 5

On cubing both sides,we get

(x+y) ^3 = 5^3

(x+y) ^3 = 5 * 5*5

(x+y) ^3 = 125

If (x+y)=5

Cube on both sides,

(x+y)³=5³

(x+y)³=25*5=125
