hello friend!

By splitting the middle term we can solve this.

=>  x² - 25x + 100
=>    x² - 20x - 5x - 100
=>   x  (x-20) - 5  (x-20)
=>
(x - 5)  (x - 20)

∴ the factors of X² - 25x + 100  are (x - 5)  (x - 20).

EQUATING BOTH SIDES WITH 0

 (x - 5)  =0               (x - 20)=0
X= 5                          X = 20
hope it helps!
