XXXX is not written because any letter in Roman numeral cannot be repeated more than 3 times
VX is not written because V,X cannot be subtracted from any number

We Indians use these Roman numbers .I,e XXXX, VX but in very less amount ,since in our country tens , hundreds , lakhs are used as a regular numbers . Since they not make proper sequence and also they are used from ancient times.

The actual reason behind why we don't use these Roman numbers is that they it is very difficult that when numbers L, C,D comes 3-4 times which makes these numbers very difficult to make proper sequence.................
