Find the dimension of a and b where x and y in meter and t in second

therefore

b√t and ax² should also have the dimension of y  or else addition wont be possible.

b√t=[M⁰L¹T⁰]

b[M⁰L⁰T^1/2]=[M⁰L¹T⁰]

therefore

b=[M⁰L¹T^-1/2]

ax²=[M⁰L¹T⁰]

a[M⁰L²T⁰]=[M⁰L¹T⁰]

a=[M⁰L⁻¹T⁰]
