because the ncert syllabus is too low and the board levels standard should be high so you should always prefer to extra books like arihant or the s.chand books..
the ncert books are filled with some rubbish stories of paheli and boojo etc....

No dear......just a lil cncentration and soon u ll feel that ncert is more than enough....even all the cmpetitive xams like ctet, htet 4 teachers and neet ,jee for students are ncert based only
