Step-by-step explanation:

let marked price be 100 parts

selling price discount is 30%

30% from 100 is 30

100-30 = 70 parts

now in marked price the discounts are 20 and 10%

by using formula

X+y+(xy/100 )

-10-20+(-10*-20/100)

-30+2 = -28

28% from the 100 is 28

100-28 = 72 parts

given difference between selling price and marked price is 72

72-70= 72

2 parts = 72

so 1 part = 36

marked price we assumed that 100 parts

so totally 100*36 = 3600
