Hey!!!
That's easy
=> y² + y - 6 = 0
=> y² + 3y - 2y - 6 = 0
=> y(y + 3) -2(y + 3) = 0
=> (y - 2)(y + 3) = 0
=> y = 2 or y = -3
Hope this helps
