________________________

SIDE OF CUBE = 1 m

volume of cube V1=

 {1}^{3}  = 1

So when the sides get doubled the side will be = 2

So new volume V2 =

 {2}^{3}  = 8 {m}^{3}

The volume incresed = V2 -V1

= 8 - 1 = 7

 {m}^{3}
