You are given a magnet and a strip of an iron how will you distinguished between these two​

Take another magnet qnd place near both the pbjects given on both poles (N and S ) if any of the poles repel its the magnet and the other one is iron

Take an iron strip and place it on the table. Now take a bar magnet and place one of its poles near one edge of the strip of iron. Without lifting it, move it along the length of the iron strip till you reach the other end.
