Dear Sir:
I am writing to your esteemed self to apprise you of the Tree Plantation Programme in our school. As you know the entire nation is abuzz with Tree Plantation Campaign, our school also contributed in it in its own small way. Keeping pace with the ongoing tree plantation drive all across the country, a tree plantation programme was held in our school on June 24, 2017. The Deputy Commissioner of the district along with a team of 20 workers planted 10000 trees in our campus and the surrounding areas. The schoolchildren from our school along with the teachers participated in the tree plantation drive enthusiastically. Addressing the students on the occasion, The DC appealed to the students and the colony residents to ensure the sapling's healthy nurturing. He appealed to the students and the residents to adopt trees for the 100% survival and healthy growth of each sapling into full-fledged tree.
