Subject: Health hazards caused by pesticides and chemicals

Sir:

I am writing this letter to express my deep concern over the issue of use of excessive pesticides and harmful chemicals in food stuffs. In order to increase the shelf life of natural foods, pesticides and harmful chemicals are being used rampantly.  

Many TV channels have shown reports on the blatant use of these poisonous substances in the food stuffs, vegetables, and fruits. These chemicals are highly carcinogenic.  

I appeal to the Government to take strict actions and measures in this regard. Kindly give my views enough space in your daily.
