My dear Seema,

I hope you are okay and doing fine there. I got your letter last week where you wanted to know about my new year celebration. I would like to let you know that this new year I, with my parents had gone to the hill town- the beautiful Shimla.

Shimla is a paradise for tourists. We went to Shimla by train. There are hills on all sides. The train passed through several tunnels. The hill view was a very joyful experience. For the first time, I got to taste famous and delicious hilly food. We reached Shimla in the evening. We put up in a hotel. We placed our luggage in a room and went to see the night view from the hilltop. There was a great rush of the people. They looked carefree. We spent ten days in the lap of nature. The memories of the visit are still fresh in my mind.

You know what Seema, this famous hill station was covered with white snow. The pleasant weather took my heart. I must say the people were so friendly and loving. We all enjoyed playing in the snow we all enjoyed the new year for more than a week and came back home.

Say hello to uncle and Aunty and give love to Rohan. Hope we will meet soon.
