You have two containers. one holds 5 cups and the other holds 3 cups. how do you measure out four cups using only those two containers

ok so I just solution for your question

so let's give the name for the container holding 5 cups be a and the container holding 3 cups b

so fill the container a and make sure that the container b is empty
now for the solution for the liquid in the container a to the container be until the container b becomes full

now in the container a you have left 5 minus 3 equals to 2 cups
in the container be is having 3 cups now

repeat this process again and make sure that the two cups contained in the container a is stored somewhere else I hope you like this answer thanks
